TECHNICAL UPDATE FROM ALLEGION:

Overview: Schlage® Control™ Smart Deadbolt (and Interconnected Locks) with Greenwich Trim A retrofit clip has been developed to enhance the security features of in-field Schlage Control Smart Deadbolts (and Interconnected Locks) with Greenwich Trim. This enhancement is for the weephole on the lower side of the external escutcheon (see picture below) and will not impact the intended function of the weephole (i.e., allow water and moisture to escape).

Affected Product: Brand: Schlage Models: Control Smart Deadbolt with Greenwich Trim (BE467F GRW) and Schlage Control Smart Interconnected Locks with Greenwich Trim (FE410F GRW).

Actions: Allegion developed a retrofit clip that customers can install to provide enhancement for in-field units. We recommend all commercial customers install this update. These retrofit clips can be obtained free of charge by calling Allegion's technical support line (1-877-671-7011, select Option 2 for Schlage Electronic Locks).
