Enable Bluetooth for Homebase on an iOS device

In order to activate your Homebase connected devices and to connect them to your iOS device, set OS level permissions and App level permissions (iOS 13 or higher) for Bluetooth to On. The Bluetooth settings path is the same across all iOS devices.

For OS level permissions:

  1. On your device home screen, tap Settings.

  2. Scroll down to and select Bluetooth.

  3. Toggle Bluetooth to On.

For app level permissions (iOS 13 or higher):

  1. On your device home screen, tap Settings.

  2. Scroll down to and select Privacy.

  3. Select Bluetooth.

  4. Scroll down to Homebase, then toggle Bluetooth to On.

Enable Bluetooth on an Android device

In order to activate Homebase, and to connect devices to your Android device, Bluetooth must be turned on.
Note: Each Android device may vary (e.g., Samsung vs. Nexus), so if you're unable to find your Bluetooth settings, get help from your device manufacturer or mobile carrier.

General Android Bluetooth settings:

  1. Search for the Settings app on your device, then select the app.

  2. Scroll down to and select Bluetooth or the Bluetooth symbol.

  3. Toggle Bluetooth to On.
