Do I have a Schlage control lock version 1.0 or 2.0?

Check for a small white dot beneath your lock bolt on the outside of your door. If you see a small white dot, you have a 2.0. If you don't see a small white dot, you have a 1.0. Chat with our Customer Success Team if you are still unsure.

Read on to learn what you can expect from a 1.0 or explore 2.0 features here.

Keyless entry

The Schlage control lock version 1.0 works best when a fob is the primary unlock method. You can use the Homebase app on your phone or smartwatch to unlock your door, but it will take longer. We recommend it as a backup for your fob.
