Stop the key hunt! Discover the Homebase Lock Widget, a game-changer for navigating your community. Picture a mini app on your phone's home screen, like a shortcut button, but way cooler. This widget lets you customize it with your most-used doors, then unlock them with a single tap - no more digging through apps or remembering keycodes.
Keep in mind, the process is slightly different for iOS and Android. Scroll down to learn how to set up your device.
Adding the Widget to Your iPhone
Enter Edit Mode: Press and hold on an empty area of your home screen until your apps start to jiggle.
Tap the + button in the top left corner of your screen.
Search for Homebase and select the “Homebase widget.”
Select 1, 3, or 7 depending on how many locks you would like to display.
Drag the widget to whichever location on your home screen you prefer.
Tap “Done” in the top right corner.
The widget preselects doors to display. Add or edit these at any time to ensure that it displays the doors you use most frequently. To do this:
Press and hold the widget, then tap “Edit Widget.” Tap “Choose” to select each lock.
Drag the locks to change the order.
Tap outside the widget to return to the home screen.
Congratulations! Now you can unlock your door from your home screen by tapping the widget.

Adding the Widget to Your Android
Press and hold on the home screen, then tap “Widgets.”
Search for Homebase, then drag and drop the Homebase widget on your home screen.
Tap “Configure,” then “Edit” to customize the widget.
Select the doors you’d like to add to the widget and tap “Next.”
To change the order, drag the locks where you’d like them to be and tap “Save.”
Scroll to view locks in your list or press and hold the widget to expand its size.
Congratulations! Now you can unlock your door from your home screen by tapping the widget.
