To protect resident privacy the Activity Log in the Homebase Resident App is only visible to residents in that unit.

First, let’s review the difference between “Engage” vs. “Granted”:

Lock engaged= Staff or resident is standing in front of the door and attempting to lock or unlock the door!

Access granted= Staff member or resident has been entered into the system and based on the settings, they have been granted access to engage that door. This does NOT mean someone has been to the door or that the lock as been updated. It just means staff or resident has access!

  • Residents get a notification when staff enters their apartment.

    • Residents can also see staff attempts to engage the lock in the Activity Log.

  • Staff can never see resident activity in Homebase.

    • Staff can only see staff activity.

    • Caveat: Property Management can request Customer Support to pull the data from the lock service. While it's never readily available in the app, please reach out to support in the event of an emergency.

  • Key Fob activity cannot be tracked and therefore cannot be displayed in any logs.
