About Key Fobs

If there are preceding zeros in the last 4-6 digits exclude the zeros. For example, fob ending in 00136 would be entered as 136.

Assign a key fob in the 'Fobs & Credentials' page

  • Find an available key fob you'd like to assign, and set it aside.

  • Select the 'Fobs & Credentials' page in the Homebase Web Manager.

**Please note, a fob number will never begin with "0"

  • Select 'Manual' method of assignment.

  • Don't forget to update key access going to the door and using your Homebase Manager App.

Assign a key fob in the 'People' page

  • Click the blue 'Assign key fob' button on the right hand side of the screen

  • Search for an available key fob number and click to add it. You can add as many key fobs as needed here.

  • Click 'Save' in the bottom right hand.

  • Don't forget to update key access going to the door and using your Homebase Manager App.

Remove an assigned fob

  • Click on the 'Fobs & Credentials' page.

  • Find or search for the person or fob number you wish to remove.

  • Select the three dots on the right side of that row.

  • Select 'Unassign' in the menu.
