Your property can enable rent payment, Wifi payment, or both through the Homebase Resident App using your own payment transaction accounts with Dwolla and Stripe.

If your property is deploying Resident Wifi the residents must make Wifi payments through the Homebase app.

How it works:

Your company creates its own free Dwolla (for ACH payments) and Stripe (for credit card payments) accounts.

The Homebase integration with Dwolla and Stripe allows you to set up the accounts inside the Homebase Manager. After set-up, the accounts can be accessed through the Homebase Manager or through Dwolla and Stripe login pages.

While the Homebase integration facilitates sign-up and transaction processing via the Homebase Resident App, the Dwolla and Stripe accounts are your private accounts, and Homebase does not manage or have access to the transacted funds.

Inside the Dwolla and Stripe platforms, you can set up deposit accounts and schedules and monitor transactions.

Through the Homebase Community Manager V2 (https://admin.homebase.ai/#/login) you can securely create Stripe and Dwolla accounts for your property.

Please note: setting up payments in the new Community Manager (V3) is not currently supported.

Getting Started:

Log in to the Community Manager and select the down arrow in the top right corner. Select Portfolio.

You may need to re-enter your password to gain Portfolio level access. You must be a Super Administrator to access Portfolio.

Select Setup Payments

Follow the prompts to the external Dwolla and Stripe sites to set up accounts for your business.

Please Note: Setting up Dwolla and Stripe accounts is required in order to provide Wifi access to your residents in the Resident App. This ensures real-time updating of Wifi speeds, pro-rating mid-month plan changes, and consistent monthly reporting on Wifi charges.
