Navigate to the Connect view and select a chat channel from all those listed.

Current available channels are:
Front Desk - Talk to whoever is manning the front desk
Maintenance - Ask maintenance based questions to property staff
Payments - Send and receive payment options or chat with property staff about payments
Announcements - Announcements sent to the entire community
Roommates - Talk to your roommates. Building staff cannot see these conversations

Tap the textbox near the bottom of the screen and chat like you would with any other mobile app. Tap the Send button to the right to send the message to the channel. If you'd like to include a photo, select the camera icon and choose whether you'd like to take a photo or select one from your library.
