The Homebase Community Manager allows you to view and control devices in units on your property. These permissions are adjusted when a unit is occupied. Please see below for detail on managing each type of device.

Locks

Unit Doors using Schlage Smart Locks
Staff with Mobile Manager access can lock and unlock unit locks. Staff must be within Bluetooth range of the lock. Residents are notified immediately when this occurs. 

Exterior Doors using Brivo
Staff with Community Manager access can remotely unlock Brivo integrated exterior doors from the Community Manager. 

Staff with Mobile Manager access can remotely unlock Brivo integrated exterior doors from the Access screen. 


Thermostats

Vacant Units
Staff can create default temperature settings to which all units will revert upon vacancy. 

Occupied Units
To protect resident privacy staff are not able to view or edit thermostat settings. If temperatures fall outside a range safe for property and human health, the staff will receive a notification to contact the resident. 


Lights 

Vacant Units
Staff can create default "lights off" settings to which all units will revert upon vacancy. 

Occupied Units
To protect resident privacy staff are not able to view or edit light switch settings.
