Homebase has partnered exclusively with Brivo and Allegion to enable straightforward access control for your entire community.
From the Homebase Community Manager you can enable resident or staff access to community locks managed by Brivo and Schlage Smart Locks.
(Please note if your community does not use Brivo for community access control you will need to manage community access separately.)
Here's what you need to know to get started.
The Homebase Implementation Team will:
- Install and program your Schlage Smart Locks and (2) key cards or fobs for each lock. They will also provide you with a set of Master Fobs for your property.
- Provide you with a back stock of extra key cards or fobs and load them into the system so they are ready for you to assign.
Assigning Key Cards or Fobs
Fobs assigned to a resident in the Community Manager give the resident access to the lock on their apartment door and any Brivo controlled locks in the community.

Managing Locks and Key Cards/Fobs
Below are the details you need to successfully manage your property's smart access control in Homebase.
Digital Access Control
Authorized staff can remotely unlock community doors with the Community Manager and engage unit locks within range using the Mobile Manager.
Residents can use the Resident App to unlock community doors and engage their unit lock within range.
