As soon as a resident is invited to the Homebase Resident App two things happen: 

  1.  The resident can download the app and use it to access locks, control unit devices, manage WiFi, pay rent and submit maintenance tickets.  
  2. The lease is active in Homebase and the following lease fields are editable via the View & Edit link in the Current Lease section of the Unit Dashboard. 

Resident Name, Email and Birthdate

Note: The resident phone number is not editable as this is the primary user identifier in Homebase. If the resident changes their phone number contact Homebase and we will update the phone number internally.
