Your property can enable rent payment, Wifi payment or both through the Homebase Resident App.

Payments can be made via the Homebase Resident App using a credit card or ACH. Payments are deposited to your designated bank account based on the schedule you establish. 

Credit card transactions are processed using Stripe and ACH transactions using Dwolla

Through the Homebase Community Manager you can securely create Stripe and Dwolla accounts for your property. 

Log into the Community Manager and select the down arrow in the top right corner. Select Portfolio.

You may need to re-enter your password to gain Portfolio level access. You must be a Super Administrator to access Portfolio.

Select Setup Payments

Follow the prompts to the external Dwolla and Stripe sites to set-up accounts for your business. 

Below you will find a checklist of all the information you'll need to set-up your Dwolla and Stripe accounts via your Homebase Dashboard. We recommend you gather all this information ahead of time and have it ready when it's time to set-up your accounts in Homebase.

Please note: 

Dwolla verification will take 3 to 5 days.
Once you complete the Dwolla set-up in Homebase expect a 3-5 business day verification period before you will be be able to accept payments via Homebase. 

Microdeposit verification may be required.
You may be required to verify your bank account by documenting microdeposits. Dwolla will initiate a series of microdeposits and you will need to verify the amount and date of those deposits in the Homebase Dashboard.

Any resident payments made via credit card will deposit to your Stripe account. Stripe requires a bank account be set-up for payouts

Please Note: Setting up Dwolla and Stripe accounts is required in order to provide Wifi access to your residents in the Resident App. This ensures real time updating of Wifi speeds, pro-rating mid-month plan changes, and consistent monthly reporting on Wifi charges.
